DRAG PLATES …are flat pieces of foam placed as “parachutes” to “grab” air & slow the plane down. Some people refer to them as air-brakes. In the pictures you'll see two versions, one between the ailerons - and one directly attached to the ailerons. Both work fairly well, although the ones attached directly to the ailerons can negatively effect flight characteristics.
